About Dream Developments

Dream Development has grown substantially since the company started its journey in 1994. Today, the builder is considered one of Canada’s leading real estate companies with 800 employees and approximately $14 billion of assets under management in North America and Europe. The scope of the business includes residential land development, housing and condominium development, asset management & management services for four TSX-listed funds, investments in and management of Canadian renewable energy infrastructure and commercial property ownership. The values and culture of Dream Development revolve around integrity, social responsibility, teamwork, opportunity and fun. The company believes in contributing to the communities where we live and work, and value the commitment of others.

Management Team

Our team is made up of the industry’s smartest, most dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced real estate investment, asset management and financial professionals that have a proven track record of creating value.

Our Values & Culture

We strengthen our culture by living these values every day, in how we work, communicate, and make decisions. Our values define how we collaborate and share our responsibilities, and they are what makes Dream such a great place to work.

Our People

What makes Dream such a special place? Our people. We hire smart, dedicated, knowledgeable and fun people to join our team. We hire people who not only live, but also represent our values and, together, we build better communities.
We are proud of our employees, and you will see in their stories that they are proud to work for Dream. These are the people who would be your colleagues, and we’re willing to bet they would quickly become your friends.

Our Community

Dream is committed to building better communities. We believe we not only have the ability, but also the responsibility to contribute to and invest in the communities where we work.
We do that by partnering with not-for-profit organizations, encouraging employee volunteering, and supporting local charities that are important to our employees.
We also do it through our work, whether it’s by building themed parks for the children in our residential communities or by launching initiatives in our office buildings to give tenants a chance to help people in need.

Our Partnerships

Dream is proud to partner with Toronto’s Women’s College Hospital and to have established strong relationships with The Shoebox Project for Shelters and Right to Play. Click on the logos below to learn more about our work with these innovative organizations.

Local Charities

Dream has always been committed to building better communities by supporting local programs and initiatives that strengthen the social fabric of the communities where we work and live.
Investing in our communities means more to us than simply writing a cheque: we like to partner with like-minded organizations so that we can all grow from our collaboration, allowing us to impact even more people.
